The compiler includes support for many features that are not available for .PDF ebook options – such as the ability to use Flash, Shockwave and video within your eBook. It’s interface is also quite simple and intuitive to use, but also contains many security features and a full trial version (“try before you buy”) for an extensive trial period. The eBook compiler also has a robust encryption features for eBook security and on-line sales.

All aspects of the Ebook Maestro Pro system are highly configurable, such as the ability to modify settings for windows, menus, search and navigational bars. There is also on-line sales support for when you have questions or problems using the software. If you are looking for one of the cheapest and best eBook compilers currently available, we highly recommend you take advantage of their free trial!

eBookGold offers some great ebook security and compilation features. It also comes with a free demo version (with limited features) that allows you to try out the interface first and see if works for you. Unlike some other ebook publishing software packages, eBookGold is primarily a software package you can use to create an ebook out of an already written document, and it allows you to import your already written book into the compiler.

The software does not offer much in terms of ebook creation assistance, but it does have a lot of nice features including the ability to “lock” your ebook so that it can only be read on the purchaser’s computer and not “shared” with friends for free; advanced security features, including one-click ebook deactivation ability; and the creation of self-standing ebooks that do not require the user to download any additional software in order to read the books.

eBook Pro is suitable for a wide variety of different electronic publishing formats, including e-zines, newsletters, books, catalogs, audio presentations, video presentations and more. The software includes easy to use ebook wizards to help walk you through all the basic steps of creating and then compiling your ebook.  There are also 29 different professionally designed ebook templates available to choose from, and online help videos as well.

If you are concerned about intellectual theft, eBook Pro may be the best choice from you. Their password protected administrative page allows you to deactivate any ebook from right inside the software and stop users from “copy & pasting” your information. You also have options to encrypt your ebook with a customized algorithm, disallow printing if desired, and much more. Unfortunately there is no trial version available.
